CAXperts – a brief profile
CAXperts have been founded in May 2002 and are headquartered in Ismaning Germany, which is located near the Munich Airport on the way to the city centre of Munich.
The focus of CAXperts is providing IT-solutions for the process and power industry. Projects executed by CAXperts span around the world in every continent. CAXperts in Germany provide services for consulting and development. When the need arises, CAXperts use their international network of specialists, offices and partners to fulfil project requirements.
The need to cater to customers around the world has driven CAXperts to have offices in Perth / Australia and Pune / India. These offices are offering services for consulting.
CAXperts business areas
CAXperts work in two main business areas, namely, consulting / professional IT-Services, and software development.
The consulting services are executed by experienced senior consultants with many years of experience in their individual fields in the industry. The expertise of the consultants spans across design and engineering workflows, automation, global work share, materials management and laser scanning. Professional IT-Services cover the fields of training, implementation, configuration and customisation of standard software used in the process and power industry.
The software development covers, on one hand, the development of standardised solutions, which improve the user friendliness and automate workflows by achieving significant savings on man hours for individual tasks and simplify standard software solutions. These products are constantly improved and maintained over the years. The quality and experience that CAXperts provide in the field of software development is well known in the industry and this lead to a development alliance with Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville. On the other hand CAXperts provide customised solutions. Prospective customers often have individual problems, very typical to their workflow, where they need help. Relationship with Intergraph
CAXperts work very closely with Intergraph and have a 3-tier Cooperation as follows:
- Development Alliance with Intergraph, Huntsville: CAXperts has developed the XPDA environment for PDS v 8.0 which replaces the PD_Shell and this development has been OEMed to Intergraph and is now delivered along with PDS v8.0
- Consulting: CAXperts are consulting partners for many Intergraph offices all over the world.
- Distribution: Intergraph distributes CAXperts solutions in many regions of the world where there is direct representation of Intergraph.
