Live mode

The 4D System live mode is working with a live Oracle Primavera P6 database

Prerequisites

The webservice must be installed on a server with the following pre-requisites:

  • Functional Primavera API

  • Java 1.8

  • Free Port 80 for webservice and Firewall open for Port 80

It is not necessary to install the webservice on the Primavera Database Server.

The Java_Home system variable needs to be set correctly:

Example:

Java_Home=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_221

Webservice setup

Run the setup.

  • Server name: Computername

  • Port: 80

  • Memory: 512MB

Enter the path to the BREBootStrap.xml and API Lib directory

To check if the webservice is running type http:\\computername\primavera-webservice in any web browser.

Usage

  1. Place the 4D System.exe in the same folder as the UniversalPlantViewer.exe
  2. Run the exe
