Introduction

CAXperts 4D System converts activity/task data from 4D/5D planning tools like Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to animations for UniversalPlantViewer.

There are two modes available:

1. Offline/command line mode: converts Excel files containing the 4D/5D data directly to UPV animation files.
2. Oracle Primavera P6 live connection: creates UPV animations using P6 data live data, writes UPV animation data directly to the P6 database. Prerequisites: Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera P6 API, 4D System WebService.

Prerequisites

• Supported operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 or later
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or later

• UniversalPlantViewer API

• Microsoft Office 2003 or later

• For the P6 live mode: Oracle Primavera P6 Server, Primavera P6 Client and Primavera P6 Integration API
